These are upgraded TRF piston rod shock guides made of durable and low-friction polyacetal. They are resistant to warping caused by sudden shock impacts and reduce oil leakage compared to the standard Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) rod guides, found in Tamiya's TRF shock dampers.
